ISSB stands for Inter Services Selection Board. It is a board in Pakistan that chooses candidates for the army, air force, and navy. They assess candidates on their mental, physical, moral, and social skills to make sure they are suitable for the job.

To be considered for ISSB, candidates must first take an entrance test and a medical examination. The selection process has three parts: psychological tests, outdoor tests, and an interview. The tests are held at different centers across Pakistan and candidates are required to stay for four days.

There are different courses available to join the army, air force, and navy. These courses have different eligibility criteria and requirements, such as age and education level. Candidates can apply if they are citizens of Pakistan or permanent residents of Azad Kashmir or Gilgit Baltistan and meet the requirements for the specific course they are interested in.

The ISSB selection process is a multi-step process that assesses a candidate's suitability for the defense forces. The process starts with an entry test and initial medical examination. Candidates who pass these initial stages will be shortlisted and called for the ISSB selection process.

The ISSB selection process has three parts:

Psychological Tests: These tests assess a candidate's intelligence, mechanical aptitude, and personality.

Outdoor Tests: These tests include group discussion, group planning, group tasks, command tasks, and individual obstacles. These tests evaluate a candidate's teamwork, leadership, and physical abilities.

Interview: Candidates will also have an interview with a panel of officers to assess their suitability for the defense forces.

The ISSB tests are held at different test centers such as Malir, Kohat, Gujranwala, and Quetta Cantonment. Candidates are required to stay for four days at the test center for the tests. All the tests will be held on different days within these four days.

The Pakistan Army, Air Force, and Navy each offer different courses for individuals to join.
