GENERAL MANAGER (OPERATIONS)
- To monitor issuance of NOC/Gate pass to Terminals for release of CY containers.
- Overall responsible for Karachi /Port Qasim operations & CFS section under ED Commercial instructions / guidance essential for the department.
- To attend all vessels calling in his area of responsibility, supervise loading & unloading of cargo on dry cargo vessels & to ensure quick turnaround and proper husbanding of vessels.
- To maintain liaison with Ship Repair Management division for Ship’s repairs, dry docking/survey at Karachi, port Qasim so that Line and tanker schedule is maintained.
- To conclude contract agreements with the Stevedores, Tally, Survey & other contractors involved in the cargo operations at Karachi port and monitor their performance for cost control.
- To prepare pre stowage plan (Dry Cargo). Issue loading schedule & ensure cargo loaded has been properly secured.
- To liaise with Insurance & Claims department for smooth & speedy settlement of cargo claims.
- To coordinate with dry ports for smoothdestuffing of containers at various terminals as per consignee requirement.
- To monitor Tanker vessels operations.
- To supervise working of container freight station in his area of responsibility.
The Candidate should be:
- Master Mariner (FG).
- Sailing experience in senior capacity with minimum 05 years shore experience in senior capacity with reputable ship owning or ship Management Company with direct role in ship operations and import/export documentations.
OR - MBA in Maritime / Logistics / Finance / Marketing / Supply Chain Management from HEC recognized institute.
- Minimum 15 years shore experience in senior capacity with reputable ship owning or ship Management Company with direct role in ship operations and import/export documentations.
- Preference will be given to a candidate having additional qualification / experience:
- Ship Command Experience.
- MICS qualification. - Maximum age: 55 Years

Responsibilities:
GENERAL MANAGER (COMMERCIAL)- Supervise and monitor the performance of Tanker / Chartering / Trade Areas / Department / Sections.
- Ensure that the corporation owned / managed / Charterer tonnage is being utilized effectively.
- Monitor the performance of agents / contractors at home and abroad.
- Assess, analyze and report periodically condition prevailing in shipping business and their probable effect on corporation.
- Allocate ship to trade areas as per commercial policy.
- Coordinate with Ship management and Commercial Division.
- Attend Conference / Meetings as required.
- Deal with overall administration of officers and staff of department / section in accordance with Corporation policy and relevant rules and regulations.

GENERAL MANAGER (ADMIN/HR)
The Candidate should be:
- B.E / B.Sc / BBA (HR) from HEC recognized university.
- Minimum 15 years’ of relevant experience at any reputed organization, effectively managed 200 plus employees.
- 5 years experience as head of any organization/department.
- Experience of up keeping, maintenance and refurbishment operations of buildings, preferably close to sea.
- Preference will be given to candidate having:
a) Experience in public relations and interaction with government departments.
b) Knowledge of safety and security of buildings and infrastructure.
c) Master’s degree or diploma in related field. - Ex- armed forces officer.
- Maximum age: 55 Years
DEPUTY MANAGER (TANKER)
- Prepare, update and maintain vessels schedule.
- Assist in monthly voyage planning and scheduling of in house and chartered tankers.
- Prepare Charter Party comments and assist Manager (Tanker) in Pre-Fixture.
- Ensure immediate employment of own tankers.
- Look after post fixture/operations of owned and chartered tankers.
- Attend monthly Refineries/PNSC Coordination meetings at OCAC office.
- Keep close watch on chartered tankers performance.
- Calculate and assist in lodging claims of own vessels against PNSC clients and third parties.
- Monitor communication/emails and respond to parties accordingly.
- Appoint cargo surveyors at local and foreign ports.
- Prepare reply to all audit queries.
- Settle various demurrage claims of foreign tankers with the involvement of P&I, Lawyers and closely coordinate with owners for commercial settlement.
- Assist in handling urgencies/emergencies of owned and foreign flag tankers at Pakistani and foreign ports.
- Negotiate and settle demurrage claims of Refineries.
- Prepare off hire claims of foreign flag vessels.
ASSISTANT MANAGER (TANKER)
- Review and negotiate chartered vessels demurrage claims in line with charter party terms.
- To prepare /check/review ‘Freight Invoice’ and liaise with the Operation Dept for timely filing of IGM.
- To assist in drafting letters and update correspondence with Ministry of Maritime Affairs, KPT, PQA and other Govt. bodies.
- To complete vessel certification/documentations and liaise with MR&S, Fleet Department for update.
- To prepare fixture files for presentation to the chartering committee.
- Keep close watch on chartered tankers performance.
- To update vessel’s certificates, documents and Q88 for vessel nomination to clients.
- To take P&I club coverage of chartered vessel.
- Arrange for income tax port clearance certificate of chartered vessel.
- Prepare and sent LOI to all foreign ships.
ASSISTANT MANAGER (CHARTERING)
- Assist in pre-fixture activities which include coordination with clients, performing the due-diligence as per company SOP.
- Post-fixture related activities, including but not limited to coordination with vessels, Principals and Agents and also liaising with the inter-company departments, Bunkering, Voyage instructions, coordinating with agents / owners for smooth voyage and quick turnaround of vessel.
- Handling Demurrage / Dispatch Calculations and preparation of invoices.
- Preparing hire statements and settlement of accounts with the Charterers.
- Assist & liaise with I&C Department to enable them to notify insurers / P&I club regarding cargo shortage / damages, freight, demurrage related disputes, accident, pollution incidents, threat of arrest and other club covered matters falling under jurisdiction of Chartering department.
- Appointment & nomination of load & discharge port agent on voyage charter business.
- Check port disbursement accounts and exercise cost control.
- Liaise with charterers for smooth execution of Charter Party.
